JOB DESCRIPTION
Oversee a team of Assessors who are responsible for delivering Leadership & Management Apprenticeships up to Level 5, ensuring that there is continuous improvement evidenced within teaching, training and occupational competency over time. Delivery and assessment of qualifications that are essential for the Assessors to achieve, e.g. CAVA / AET. Coach, observe and develop field based Assessors to ensure they understand the standards, and deliver quality teaching and learning. Plan and complete observations of the learner journey, including: enrolment, induction, on-programme assessment and EPA preparation.
Furthermore, you will need to regularly update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements. Monitor compliance and targets against learner attendance, learner journey and progression. Implement action plans to ensure Assessors are delivering training to a high standard, and CPD is up to date. Carry out curriculum evaluations and work to improve the delivery, ensuring that it remains relevant to the sector.
