As a Management Assessor, you will assess and support learners working towards the Level 5 Operations / Departmental Manager Apprenticeship Standard. Deliver online learning via MS Teams to gather evidence and manage your own diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
You will be required to organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress. Providing support, advice and motivation to learners. Help learners to overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Work to learner review and completion time scales. Meeting any Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely reviews, paperwork, EPA and general administration.
This is an opportunity for either a Trainee or Qualified Residential Childcare Assessor.
Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Apprenticeship Standards in Children and Young People/Residential Childcare up to Level 5 (Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Level 4 and Children, Young People and Families Manager Level 5). You will need to support learners to achieve Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2. Conducting online video meetings and training sessions with learners. Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress while providing support, advice and motivation to learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must have occupational competency within a Residential Childcare setting at Management level.
Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Must be comfortable with online 1-1 and group based training delivery.
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.
