JOB DESCRIPTION
Home-based position with some travel. With all expenses paid for. The applicant can be anywhere in the UK.
The applicant will be supporting teaching assessors who deliver and develop a range of resources for the Level 3, 4 and 6 Careers advice and guidance students. You will be overseeing a team of 4.
Must have experience in IQA or assessing for Careers, Advice and Guidance.
These qualifications are delivered to individuals employed across Levy and Non-Levy paying employers.
Delivery of the support will be a combination of one-to-one, face-to-face and remote visits and will also include group teaching and learning sessions that you would have to IQA for ensuring robust IQA and best practice processes are in place and followed consistently, in line with the internal quality assurance strategy.
Supporting the business, learners, and employers in achieving timely and high success rates. Your roles include:
- Maintain relationships with the Awarding organisations
- Attending SQA visits for the career development programmes
- Implement an agreed schedule of standardisation meetings to drive best practice in assessment and internal verification and that staff are highly trained in these practices
- Ensure the delivery of all examinations are conducted in line with the awarding organisation
- Carry out observations of teaching, learning and assessment
Ideally have an understanding of functional skills delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Must be IQA qualified, such as CAVA or V1 or D33
