JOB DESCRIPTION
Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Sussex / Surrey – Home/Field based (Must be flexible with travel).
This an excellent opportunity to transition to a new and rewarding career within the training industry!
Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Tutor/Assessors with solid experience within Sports Coaching.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Delivering the full Apprenticeship Standard in Community Activator Coach Level 2.
- Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
- Delivering Functional Skills in Maths and English Level 2.
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs.
- Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Must hold strong occupational competency within Sports Coaching (e.g., Football Coach / Cricket Coach / Basketball Coach etc.)
- Must hold own Level 1 Sports Coaching qualification as a minimum (e.g., NGB or Multi Skilled).
- Must be confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Must be IT literate.
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
