Health and Social Care Assessor
JOB DESCRIPTION
If you believe yourself a competent Health and Social Care Assessor, then this may be the opportunity for you. Working for the prestigious City College of London, you will Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care Levels 2/3 (Level 5 if competent depending on role).
It is essential you hold a recognised Assessor award, D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQ, with experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care. You must have a strong occupational experience of working within Health and Social Care / Elderly Care at Senior Carer level or above.
Excellent IT skills – learner files are online based and due to covid, online sessions/reviews are conducted with learners via online platforms such as TEAMS/Zoom/PICS. Hold a full driving license and access to your own vehicle. With flexibility in-regards to working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners needs.
Currently delivering online and face to face due to Covid-19 with a view to returning to online and visiting/observing learners in their place of work, to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma.
Duties include:
- Work to learner review and completion timescales.
- To observe high level of security and care while handling clients personal and sensitive data according to GDPR compliance while processing documents online/digitally.
- Have a good understanding of OFSTED Standards and EIF.
- Be responsible till the End Point Assessment (EPA) is achieved and help the learner to obtain the final certification from the awarding organisation.
- Liasion with the IQA / IV to comply with all the quality assurance policies of the college, RoATP and awarding organisation.
- Taking part in monthly standardisation meeting of Assessors arranged by the college/lead IV either physically or online.
- Maintaining the highest quality and standard as required by OFSTED and ESFA
