JOB DESCRIPTION
This organisation currently has a vacancy for a CSCS Construction Tutor to join their Chesterfield-based team. The CSCS Tutor plan, prepare and teach CSCS units and level 1 and 2 employability programmes to a variety of learners aged 16+ learners.
You will be delivering Construction training leading to CSCS cards for learners and provide employability support. Developing learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet learning aims. This includes the development and effective promotion of independent learning resources and flexible learning strategies to meet learning aims.
You will produce quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for classroom led sector and employer led courses. Develop new course material to meet the needs of the learners and the local labour market. Including the delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment and that encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Teaching qualification – e.g. AET / PTLLS
- Construction background or experience of delivering training within the area
- IAG Qualification (desirable)
- Highly skilled communicator
