As a Management Assessor, you will assess and support learners working towards the Level 5 Operations / Departmental Manager Apprenticeship Standard. Deliver online learning via MS Teams to gather evidence and manage your own diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
You will be required to organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress. Providing support, advice and motivation to learners. Help learners to overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Work to learner review and completion time scales. Meeting any Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely reviews, paperwork, EPA and general administration.
We are recruiting a highly engaging Functional Skills Tutor for a well established and successful Training Provider organisation. The role will involve delivering Functional Skills to learners on various Training and Employability related courses – specifically Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2.
Based from Chesterfield, the role will involve classroom based delivery in Chesterfield, along with some travel to cover in Derby and Nottingham when needed. We are seeking someone who inspires learners, and tailor programmes to meet their individual needs.
You will deliver classroom / Centre based sessions, tutoring and support, along with offering remote delivery when required. Teaching Maths, English – Entry Level 1 up to level 2, to groups of learners in a classroom setting or one to one. Expect to work closely with other Tutors and Assessors when carrying out your role.
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will complete Initial Assessments. Provide ongoing encouragement, guidance and support to learners. Including, engaging training sessions to inspire and motivate learners.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A teaching qualification, e.g. PTTLS / DTTLS /Certificate in Education/PGCE/Professional Diploma in Teaching
Level 2 Maths, English
Driving License with own car
Teaching and coaching skills – ideally in a similar role
