JOB DESCRIPTION
S Knights Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a Head of Health and Social Care IQA. Our client is a large organisation operating nationally, having been established for over two decades. Their company ethos has both their employees and participants interests at heart, ensuring the best possible outcome from reaching targets and developing learners throughout their course/programme.
You will need to monitor the activities of assessors within the organisation. Ensuring the delivery of trainers/assessors within the organisation are meeting Ofsted requirements and expectations. Assist in improving assessment standards and best practices within the organisation
As a part of this role, you will take appropriate action where necessary if the activities of assessors are not meeting the criteria. Coach the trainers/assessors to develop their course material and forecast issues that may occur.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Have a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Have an understanding of Ofsted’s requirements and expectations
- Hold the IQA qualification
- Experience in delivering HSC courses to apprentices or adult learners
- Have occupational experience working within the HSC industry such as Care homes, Nursing homes, Health centres etc.
