JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a qualified Trainer / Assessor with experience within the retail & warehousing sector? Or are you working in retail/warehouse management and looking for a new challenge that will utilise your professional expertise?
If you have a background in retail & warehouse management and want to train and develop people, you might want to consider a career change and become an apprenticeship assessor.
You will start with an award-winning onboarding programme and bespoke training to get you up to speed in your new role so that you can deliver an exceptional experience to your learners. This is where your knowledge and experience in Retail & Warehousing can have a life-changing impact on others.
The role
As Retail & Warehouse Trainer / Assessor you will be responsible for working with apprentices delivering all aspects of the apprenticeship to ensure successful completion whilst providing exceptional support and guidance to both learners and employers. Your responsibilities will include:
- supporting and motivating learners to ensure progression in their qualification
- supporting the development of learners to maximise their full potential and stretch their knowledge
- identifying additional learning needs, providing guidance and resources
- maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing learners/clients/business support teams
- reviewing concerns to limit any early leavers from the programme

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

To be an Assessor you would need to hold either an; A1/2, D32/33, or CAVA which we have a link to HERE. Similarly so, to be a FE practitioner, in other words, a Trainer, you should hold at a minimum the AET (Level 3 Award in Education and Training). The position does not ask for these so do not feel deterred to apply if you do not possess them. However, it is in our professional opinion you need to have either qualification before applying.
