Health & Social Care Tutor / Assessor
JOB DESCRIPTION
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Social Care Tutor/ Assessor to join a successful, quality-driven training provider covering Surrey and London. You will be responsible for delivering Health & Social Care apprenticeships and qualifications up to L5 to a range of learners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health & Social Care, teamed with a real passion for learning and development. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to innovate and inspire learners to achieve their potential.
Previous experience working as a Health & Social Care Tutor/ Assessor is essential.
As a part of the role, you will support a caseload of learners through their Health & Social Care qualifications at levels 2,3 & 5. Utilise a variety of different environments for learning, including face to face and remote-based learning. Help learners progressing through their qualifications by coaching, mentoring, teaching and assessing.
Offering information, support and guidance to learners as required. Preparing learners for EPA and maintaining all documentation as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA
- Health & Social Care qualifications/ certifications
- Possess or be working to a minimum of level 2 standard in English, Maths and ICT
